After-Sales Terms and Conditions of Mega Source Elec. Co., Ltd (Electronic Components & LCD Display Panels) — Including Product Acceptance Guidelines
1. Order Issue Reporting and Handling Rules
1.1 Types of Order Issues and Reporting Requirements
Package/Product Arrived Too Late:
If your package or product is delivered later than the agreed time, please report within 3 working days after the delay. Provide the logistics tracking record and delivery agreement proof when submitting a delay claim.
Product No Longer Needed:
This situation is not considered a quality or company responsibility issue. If you request a return, you must cover the two-way shipping cost and a penalty based on the product value. Returns are only accepted if the product is unopened and can be resold. Generally, such requests are not approved and should be discussed with the sales representative.
Ordered Wrong Part or Quantity:
If the wrong part or quantity was ordered, please report within 5 working days after receiving the goods. Products must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging. You may apply for an exchange or return after covering the shipping costs. Exchanges are only allowed for models within the same product series.
Damaged or Defective Product:
If the product is found to be damaged or defective, please report within 7 working days after receipt. Submit a test report issued by the customer or a qualified third-party testing organization.
For electronic components, the report should include model, batch number, and performance failure details.
For LCD panels, include model number and describe issues such as dead pixels or color distortion areas.
Received Wrong Product or Quantity:
Please check your goods upon receipt. If you find any incorrect items, report within 24 hours and provide photos of the goods, packing list, and order details. We will arrange a free replacement and cover the shipping cost.
1.2 Cases Not Accepted
If an order issue is not reported within the specified time or does not meet the above requirements, we will not accept the claim. The goods will be considered delivered as agreed.
2. Return and Inspection Policy
2.1 Quality Issue Reporting and Inspection Requirements
For “Damaged or Defective Product” cases, customers must submit an inspection report within 7 working days after receiving the goods.
For electronic components, the report must include the product model, batch number, pin condition, and performance failure data.
For LCD display panels, the report must include the model, number of dead pixels, color distortion areas, and any physical damage.
The report must be issued by the customer or a qualified third-party inspection agency with testing credentials for the relevant product type.
If a valid report is not submitted within the specified period, the goods will be considered to meet the agreed quality standards, and no return request will be accepted.
2.2 Cases Not Eligible for Return
Electronic components that have been soldered, powered on, or show signs of use, such as bent/oxidized pins or ESD damage.
LCD panels that have been unsealed or installed, or show backlight decay, scratches, or wear marks.
Damage caused by improper transportation (compression, impact), improper storage (lack of anti-static or pressure protection), or misoperation (overvoltage, incorrect wiring).
3. Payment and Ownership of Goods
The buyer shall make full and timely payment for the goods in accordance with the contract. Before full payment is completed, the buyer shall have no right, for any reason (including quality objections or dispute negotiations), to withhold or detain the electronic components or LCD display panels delivered by our company. Otherwise, the buyer shall bear the storage fees, depreciation losses, and liabilities for breach of contract incurred during the detention period.
When payment is made by telegraphic transfer (T/T), the total remittance amount must equal the net amount receivable by our company. All bank-related fees, including handling charges, intermediary bank fees, and exchange fees, shall be borne by the buyer and may not be deducted from the remittance. If any deduction results in a shortfall in the actual amount received, the buyer must make up the difference within three (3) working days.
4. Warranty and Replacement Policy
4.1 Warranty Period
Electronic components and LCD display panels are covered by a warranty of up to 365 days from the date the customer signs for receipt.
4.2 Scope of Warranty and Replacement
The warranty only covers quality issues caused by manufacturing or supply defects, including electronic component performance failures (such as short circuits or no signal) and LCD display abnormalities (such as black screen or color distortion, excluding human-caused damage).
The following cases are not covered by the warranty or replacement service:
1) Failures caused by customer circuit design errors or incompatibility with related equipment.
2) Damage resulting from external impact, liquid spillage, or unauthorized disassembly or repair.
3) Failures occurring after the warranty period has expired.
Product-Specific Replacement Acceptance Guidelines
1. Acceptance Standards for Electronic Components
Appearance Inspection: Returned components must remain in their original, intact packaging with no signs of unsealing. The pins must be free from bending, oxidation, or soldering marks, and the surface should show no scratches, deformation, or corrosion spots.
Accessory Inspection: All original accessories included in the original package, such as manuals, quality certificates, and anti-static bags, must be returned together. Missing accessories will be charged at the replacement cost determined by our company.
Identification Inspection: The product’s model number, batch number, and production markings must be clearly visible, unaltered, and consistent with our original shipment records.
2. Acceptance Standards for LCD Display Panels
Appearance Inspection: The display panel must be free from scratches, cracks, or liquid leakage traces, and the frame must not show any signs of compression or deformation. The protective film (if provided) must remain intact or, if removed, must not leave adhesive residue.
Packaging Inspection: Returns must be shipped using our original protective packaging (including foam and carton) to prevent secondary transport damage. If the original packaging is lost, equivalent protective packaging must be used. Any damage caused by improper packaging will be the customer’s responsibility.
Accessory Inspection: All accessories originally included in the package, such as driver boards, cables, manuals, and warranty cards, must be returned in unused and undamaged condition. Missing items will incur charges based on the actual replacement cost.
